With summer quickly approaching, the kids will no doubt soon be uttering the phrase "I'm bored!". It's tempting to toss them an iPad or plop them in front of the tv, but we all know that children need plenty of unstructured and structured playtime and time outdoors in order to stay healthy. Here is a list of activities that your child or "nanny kid" can look to when s/he isn't sure how to fill the day. The first column contains activities that a child between ages 5-10 can likely do by his/herself with minimal supervision. The second column is activities that a child might need help with, or should have adult supervision while completing. Enjoy!
